Anderson Cooper is the son of Wyatt Cooper and Gloria Vanderbilt. Wyatt Cooper died when Anderson was ten. Wyatt is the author of Families: A Memoir and a Celebration, about the family he had as a child in Mississippi and the family that he had with Gloria Vanderbilt and their two sons.
